Welcome to my world of crafting while mothering small children! Let's be real...my life is a mess. But a groovy one, so that makes it a good mess.
Why, you ask? 1) Because I have two small boys and 2) because I'd rather be in my craft room than doing the dishes...or the laundry...or picking up toys...or, well, you get the picture. Just being honest here.
As a woman who left a bustling, successful career to be at home full time raising my boys (and never regretting that choice for a single moment), I'm learning to embrace my life as it is with kids...a groovy, beautiful, splendid mess! I might be telling one child to not stand up on the dining room table for the 10th time or fishing out yet another random object out of the toilet...again...but it's all good because I manage to fit some crafting in there between all the chaos. I'm a happy camper who wouldn't have this groovy mess of mine any other way. I'm blessed to be in the middle of it.

I've changed gears a bit...I was taking orders for knitting custom baby clothing and wool cloth diaper covers under the name Badonkadonk Knits (also the former name for this blog). At this time I'm taking a break from that, but may start taking customs again in the future.
So cruise along with me and enjoy my blog. Reach inside yourself and find your creativity! Give yourself the permission to embrace that creativity (which may mean forgetting your own laundry)...while enjoying whatever is in your own life that makes it groovy!
